Sheepdog Tax is a trade name of Sheepdog Prosperity Partners LLC, a Texas limited liability company (the Firm). This notice describes the information the Firm receives through sheepdogtax.com and its online forms.
Information you enter in website forms
The Firm's website forms ask for details such as your name, email address, phone number, preferred call time and time zone, and a description of your situation or the guide you want. Depending on the form, entries are stored in the Firm's website database, and copies are emailed to its business mailboxes.
Online questionnaires
The Firm uses online questionnaires to collect information relevant to inquiries and requested services. Depending on the questionnaire, this may include contact details, tax and residency information, financial circumstances and prior filings. Responses are stored in the Firm's business systems.
What not to send
Please do not include Social Security numbers, Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers (ITINs), passport or admission numbers, account numbers, passwords, full birth dates or children's names in any form, and do not upload documents. If documents are needed later, the Firm will tell you how to provide them.
How the Firm uses information
The Firm uses information from its website forms and tax questionnaires to respond to inquiries, assess whether it can assist, prepare for and arrange consultations, and provide requested guides. Submitting a form does not create a client relationship, book a consultation or set a fee.
Website analytics and advertising technology
When you visit sheepdogtax.com, the site loads Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics. They collect information about your visit, such as the pages you view, clicks on the Firm's phone number, and the fact that certain forms were submitted (not what you typed). They also collect general device, browser and approximate location information. Google Analytics uses cookies.
The site also loads the Meta Pixel, which sends Meta information about your visit, such as the page you viewed, along with browser and device information and cookie identifiers. The Firm uses it to measure visits to its site and to support its marketing on Facebook and Instagram. Meta processes this information under its own terms and policies.
The site also loads fonts from Google, which receives your Internet Protocol (IP) address when the fonts load.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. You can review how Meta uses activity from other websites in your Facebook or Instagram settings.
Service providers
The Firm uses service providers for website hosting, online forms, email, analytics and related business services. They process information to provide these services to the Firm.
